"Just imagine: you're a kid and your mom brings you to school everyday on her bicycle in the heart of Amsterdam and you're passing by centuries old milestones everyday.  And it's not a big deal, it's just 'there': Rembrant's atelier and house to the left, Vermeer's favorite bar to the right while passing the canals Breitner so beautifully painted.  Here is where my roots are.  Here is where I grew up and recieved my education in the arts since my mom taught me to walk."
